  1.                      Introduction to PC-Write by Quicksoft

  3. Welcome to PC-Write!  This screen tells how to get started.  First you make
  4. a backup copy of this diskette.  Then you print or type the PC-Write manual.
  5. If you are familiar with software, A>TYPE QUICKS.ME for quickstart information.
  6. If not, read in your "Guide to Operations" manual about disk drives, diskettes,
  7. files, file names, and the COPY and DISKCOPY commands.  
  8.  
  9. To make a backup copy of the original diskette, place it in drive A and an 
  10. empty, formatted diskette in drive B.  Enter the command: 
  11.   A>COPY *.* B:
  12. Or, if you prefer, put you DOS diskette in drive A and enter the command:
  13.   A>DISKCOPY a: b: 
  14. Use a copy as your PC-Write diskette.  Put the original in a safe place.  
  15.  
  16. To see the manual, enter either:
  17.   A>PRINTMAN    (to printer)
  18.   A>TYPEMAN     (to screen)
  19. The manual has about 135 pages.  To print or type starting at any page, 
  20. enter the number of pages to skip after the command: 
  21.   A>PRINTMAN 8  (skip 8 pages)
